Heather Han named April 2019 Student of the Month
Heather Han, a senior majoring in Psychology and a minor in Applied Music, has been chosen as the April 2019 Student of the Month by the Office of Residence Life.
Dr. Jack Croxton, Ms. Han’s research supervisor, nominated her for the award. Ms. Han is currently conducting a study on how people perceive others who carry acts of altruism. Ms. Han herself is quite altruistic herself, Dr. Croxton writes, adding that she is constantly volunteering within the department and asking what she can do to help around the office. Heather is involved in campus clubs including Fredonia Guitar Society, Fredonia Radio Systems and the Psychology Club, in which she holds the position of Vice-President. She is a member of the Association for Psychological Science and the American Music Therapy Associaiton and she also serves as a tutor with the Upward Bound Program. These are just some of Ms. Han’s involvement and accomplishments.
