Online Selection

2022 - 2023 Room Selection Information

Tutorial (PDF)

The Office of Residence Life will have to determine eligibility for all housing selections (some living eligibility is based on a recommendation from your current RD.)  View room selections below, click each individual selection to see more information.

Note:  You will search for buildings during room selection, you can put your preferences down on your application but that does not guarantee that any rooms will be available in that building.

Please remember that this room selection process is fluid and we have to allow everyone to select their room before we can review occupancy and see what we have available after that process. We understand that it is frustrating to not get your first choice of room during the selection process but please understand that we will work with you during a room change period to see what is available that will fit your needs. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this process.

Priority numbers will generate the start time of your selection.  Priority numbers are computer generated randomly based on upcoming class status.  One thing to note about anticipated class status, we do not look at total credit hours.  For example:  if you are currently a sophomore (regardless of if you have 30 credits or 59 credits) you are considered a rising junior.

Rising Seniors:  #1-300
Rising Juniors:  #301-600
Rising Sophomores:  #601-1000

Who is eligible?  If you are a current junior (60-89 credits) you are considered a rising senior.  Current seniors will also be able to select during this room selection.  There will be a limited number of singles in each building, so if you are looking for a single room make sure you are selecting a room that says standard single!

What buildings are included?  Alumni Hall, Disney & Eisenhower (excluding Kitchen Suites), Gregory, McGinnies, University Commons.  You can select a room based on what is available at your selection time, we cannot guarantee availability!

Rising seniors will receive computer generated priority numbers from 1-300 and your start time will be computed from that number.

Start times will be e-mailed out on April 12, 2023 for this room selection process.

Roommate notes:  If you have selected a roommate that is a different class year from you, you are eligible to select their room for both of you April 13, 2023.  Any student with an earlier start time is able to select a room for both students in a matched roommate group.  Always verify with your requested roommate that a room was selected!  If you are looking to fill a suite, there is separate paperwork that is available.

*Please remember that this is a fluid process. If you do not get the room of your choice, there will be a period in which you can request a room change after the entire process is complete. Thank you for your patience and understanding!**
