CAPE Program of the Month
Car Care

Alex Wagner is our CAPE winner for the month of April. Her program, Car Care, taught residents about basic car management. Alex invited an actual mechanic on campus to answer any questions residents had about their cars and taking care of it. He also taught residents how to change tires, change oil and they talked about car buying. Residents really enjoyed asking their questions and receiving good advice from someone knowledgeable about cars.

Social Justice Program of the Month
Drunk Obstacle & Alcohol Awareness

Kalee Schreiber’s program, Drunk Obstacle Course & Alcohol Awareness, is our Social Justice program winner for April. Kalee paired with S.T.E.P.S to plan a program that was both fun and educational. Residents were engaged in activities that taught them about safely consuming alcohol, how it affects the body and making smart choices. Although most residents had previous knowledge, they all seemed to learn something new and had fun doing it!
